I used to love Facebook so much. It was my HAPPY PLACE to share fun chats and good times with friends around the world. Sadly, it has now become a SAD PLACE most of the time. So many people have disappointed me with such horrible words of HATE. I always thought Facebook was supposed to be a social network to encourage international friendships, but it has become a place for people to argue, to condemn others without all of the facts, to use profanity which I find very disgusting, and to express hatred for people who are different from them culturally, religiously, and nationally. Because of this, I have been spending less time on Facebook as some of you have noticed. Soon I will decide if it will be wiser for me to leave it permanently. I feel not many people read my blogs that I work so hard on to teach or inspire people to live better and healthier lives. I try to post quotes that encourage world understanding and friendship. I admire those of you who share my passion to do this--friends like Haider Ali, Daniel Michaels, Dashing Harsh, Imad Mosawi---just to name a few. There are others beside these amazing people who try to be positive. Forgive me for not mentioning you here, but you know who you are and how much I respect you. I know I am only one person and not important in this world, but I really and genuinely wanted to help people. Maybe Facebook is not the place to do that now. I still want to do this, but I will continue to search for other more beneficial ways to get my messages of peace and brotherhood/sisterhood.
