I used to make crab cakes at times like these, got it down to a science, even when my 26 year old was young, Im alone in the world here in Sail Harbour mincing peppers and onions and garlic, none of these things are ever NOT on hand. If you feel like cooking, then thats what you do. No body makes better crab cakes than me. But I just resized there is nothing stopping me from making a deep fried bread crumb coated mother tells stick. Mozzarella. Typo. No one makes a recipe because its so obvious. To have that and not have to go out is almost as good as finding decent and crisp crab cakes.
