I used to think that losing my parents so quickly and so young was such an awful way to leave the earth. Although I still feel they left way too soon, I am so happy that they entered Heaven quickly. Over the past 10 months we have watched Marks Mom deteriorate to a point of almost non recognition. She suffered from lung cancer that slowly ate away at her spine and brain. She entered her final resting place today. Although we will miss Grammy Joanie terribly, we thank God she is not suffering any longer. Special thanks for all of the prayers and special thoughts so many of you shared during this painful journey. RIP, Grammy Joanie...We love you...XO.
