I voted no on the Ellison of MN Amendment to #HR4660, which appears to prohibit funding in the bill from being used to award federal contracts to contractors who have violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) within the last five years. Employers are already assessed civil money penalties for violations of the FLSA, and there are other policies and procedures in place that govern the suspension and debarment of federal contractors. The amendment was not agreed to 196-211.
