I walked out of the grocery store and it started dumping. As Im standing there loading groceries into the car in the rain Im thinking about how irritating the rain is... Grump grump grump. Then I get in the car and this song is on the radio. First words I hear are why is it always raining on you when all you want is just a little good news instead of standing there stuck out in the weather? The song goes on to talk about how He (God) is always there and how He uses hard situations to make us stronger. As I was thinking about that it struck me that, sometimes the strength we gain from going through a tough time is really more like the strength to trust that He is in control. The strength to realize that we cant do life on our own and that we need Him. So, if youre struggling with something right now just know that God is in control; Hes got this! Hmm, so tonight it was a rainstorm, I wonder what God will use next to remind me of His promises or teach me a little more about Him?? youtu.be/emgv-VRtMEU
