I want all of my family and relatives that James has made up his mind today that he was not going to dialysis any longer. He is tired of being sick all the time. In one day he gained 17 pounds and the dialysis is not able to keep up with the amount of water that is staying on his body. So at this time he is on hospice and he is with his family in Stayton. Roy and I will be there as much as we can. We dont expect it to last a week. One of three things will happen: 1. his heart will get to much water around it and he will not be able to breath. He has been going through coughing spells for sometime now and to day was the worse I have seen. It took both Robyn and I to get him back with us. 2. he will get toxic from the bad blood he will have in his body from not taking dialysis. 3. His liver will get worse and then that will take him. This was a very hard choice for him and he apologized to everyone for putting us through all of his illness. We all told that we loved him and that we want him to be as happy as he can. If their is anything he wants he know that someone in the family will get it for him. When James and I was leaving our meeting with the doctor he asked them if he could have a hamburger and the told him to have a double with cheese and bacon. That was two things James really like. I even got him a STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE. But he said it really didnt taste as good as he though it would. Anyway if anyone wants to see him please feel free to call him or me and we will arrange something.
