I want to express my profound appreciation to so many friends for reaching out to me! Finances are temporarily very tight, but a couple of you have offered some transportation money and food to get me through, and I am just incredibly grateful. (And Im also aware that if things get really tough, Project Darries has my back on the food front.) I have some consulting work lined up that will make things a lot better later this month. A lot of the people I work shoulder-to-shoulder with live on less than Im earning right now, and it astonishes me that we heroize people like Steve Jobs instead of them. Living poor in the bay area should earn people a medal. (And benefits.)
