I want to give you an update on my status. It has now been 2 weeks since I came down with shingles. It started on the right side of my neck, going down the back and into the arm and hand. The pain was so intense the doctor didnt understand it. A week later the rash appeared. It looked like chicken pox and felt like it. This has been the most painful thing without being hospitalized. I had to go to 3 different doctors for pain relief and medicine. I currently have great difficulty using my right hand. The fingers swell up and if I try to use it, like chopping something Im in great pain for hours. I keep waking in the night. I have thrown up many days because I couldnt take the medicine. However He who sits in the heaven laughs. I too can laugh at my enemy because I know Gods plan is for me to be well. Thank you all wonderful dear friends for praying. Even unbelieving doctors know if their patient has someone praying for them, they get better much faster. Your prayers do matter. Not just for me but everything the Father assigns to you. We strengthen each other and lift one another up in prayer. Getting up in the early hours has given me opportunity to pray for many of you. I am getting better. I am able to sleep longer.
