I want to quote Jim Pattersons comments on the Civil Service Committee after my comments . To say two of the members were clueless is an understatement. They have NO business on that committee and our city council members need to address this. Having people serving on such a very important committee that admittedly dont understand their role or duties needs to be corrected. Michael Gray was entitled to a fair hearing. He didnt get one! From Jim Patterson: Here is a run down of yesterdays civil service committee hearing. It was embarrassing to witness the proceedings. The two gentleman who voted against Lieutenant Gray should resign. From the very beginning these two wanted to rubber stamp their decision and punt it to the next round. They have no business on this committee if they do not understand what their job actually is.
