I want to say Thank You to all those in my family who served and still serve defending our country and our freedom. Those that are still with us; My brother, Wayne Scott. Yes he did and I have a phone bill with a collect call on it to prove he was there. Wayne, I am so proud of you and all you endured during those years. Cousins Bobby Mersing who is still serving proudly, Wayne Pase, Steve Mills, Harley Mersing and Tommy Ashby. My uncle Keith Mersing. I am also remembering those in my family who served and are no longer with us; cousin Randy Mills, uncle Earl Evans, uncle Dorsey Ashby and uncle Quentine Pase. Lastly I am remembering and honoring the most important man in my life, my father Don Allen Scott. Daddy served in the Navy in the Korean War. He spent his time of duty on a tanker ship refueling other ships. My sister and brothers have heard Daddy tell many war stories. We spent hours looking at photos of him and his shipmates. My Dad wasnt killed while serving however his life was forever affected by those days and nights aboard his ship. You see, while my Dad lay in his bunk the pipes above him were wrapped in asbestos. Dad died of mesothelioma in 2005. I miss my Dad so much. Take time to say Thank You and to Remember all those who are still or have served our country proudly!
