I want to say something: Im extremely proud of our downtown and all of our supporters. We now have shopping from one end of Dewey to the other, along with some great restaurants and awesome services. Every month that goes by, our historic downtown is getting cleaner and more lively. The city has backed us in everything, and I cant thank them enough for their support. The Poteau Chamber has been phenomenal in all that they do for our historic downtown district as well as the Poteau area as a whole. The Poteau Daily News and Oklahoma Welcome have always gone out of their way to keep people informed. The support from the community has been overwhelming - it is you who make everything possible. When I took over, I would have never imagined that we could have made this much progress this quick. The streets are packed, the sidewalks full, and customers in every store; this is what its all about - making Poteau a better place for everyone! Thank you for all of your support!
