I want to say thank you daddy.....not just for being my dad and my daddy (most little girls - even if were 40 - we still need our daddy, especially when dad isnt enough.... we need daddy....to hold us, comfort us and tell us everything is going to be okay when he doesnt think it will be). I want to thank you and all the other veterans you served with during a war in a country that never wanted our help. Thank you for doing what few men and women wanted to do....for following orders, even when our govt required our troops to do some things that no man or woman would willingly do. But for also staying strong when you came home to your own country to be spat at, to be called horrific names, and to be forgotten and denied the welcome home you so rightly deserved. I love you daddy!!! Thank you...you are my hero.
