I want to share a little bit of the story that has really touched - TopicsExpress

I want to share a little bit of the story that has really touched my heart and is the sole reason for the cardinal ticket raffle. It was Friday morning August 3rd 2012 and Jamie Scott Vires was taking her precious girls Brooklyn and Britlyn to get school clothes and supplies and were excited about starting Clarkton school the next week. While heading to Kennett the girls had just just hung up the phone with talking to their nana...they were telling jokes and arguing about what station the radio should be on. As Jamie was pulling off of junction 153 and M highway her view was hendered by a corn field and they were t-boned on the driver side sending Britlyn and Brooklyn to heaven that instant. Jamie was unconscious for a bit but while unconscious she went to a very beautiful place where she saw Brooklyn and Britlyn wearing sundresses and chasing butterflies in a sunflower field and saying look mommy we can fly and this is our new home, isnt it beautiful and they told their mom she had to go back because baby sister was crying but they would always be watching over them. Jamie had sustained several injuries and the baby had a broken leg and skull fracture. She was asking about her 2 girls and nobody wanted to give her the devastating news but sooner or later she had to know. Her girls loved the Clarkton school and we are trying to sell the raffle tickets for the drawing on May 2nd. All proceeds will be donated to the Clarkton school for purchasing new cafeteria tables in memory of Brooklyn and Britlyn. Scottie Vires and Jamie and baby brae are wanting to make sure that these 2 precious angels are never forgotten. Wouldnt you want the same if you were in this families shoes? Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10 but if you dont want to purchase tickets and just make a donation that will be fine too! Drawing will be held at the Clarkton school on the evening of May 2nd. If interested in the purchase of tickets or donation feel free to call me at 573-448-3849 or my cell 573-778-6112. Gone but never forgotten Brooklyn and Britlyn.
