I want to share something that happened to me today. Everyone knows how dangerous it is on the road these days, especially if you hit someones car. They could come out want to fight or they could just kill you. Well today was one of those days I drove and I was alone. I had two rehearsals back to back at two different places. I had finished all the rehearsals and it was raining and traffic was bad, bumper to bumper. On my journey home, I was tired yet, still very alert but in a split second, I realised I had banged into someones car. I thought I was dreaming for some reason. I froze, I didnt dare move and I just stared at the car in front of me in a daze. A young long haired Malay man got out to check his car, he turned looked at me and while I was still sitting in my car in a daze and still shocked and filled with sadness Becos I have never hit anyones car before. I was still frozen. He got back into his car drove to the side and I tried to pull myself together, afraid too at the same time, and I followed him to the side of the road slowly (we were on one of the highways). He then got out again looked at me and checked his car and by then I had wound my glass down and I asked him if he was alright, and if his car was ok and that I was sorry. I was still in a daze and afraid to get out. But he, this guy was just so calm and had no anger at all. He looked at me with a half smile and gave his thumbs up got back into his car and drove off. I could not believe how blessed I was. To think so many people have had horrific experiences of violent or rude behavior by those they had accidentally hit, and whether or not there was any damage, many have suffered retaliation. I just want to say thank you to him for being a gentleman altho there was no damage but He was cool. I thank God he was just a nice person. Bless him! Be safe everyone!
