I want to talk about friendship. 40 years ago I met Mandy Thompson Ayotte. We shared everything. Truly, the bathtub, (we soaped up the back so we could slide down). We shared the toilet, (our butts were small enough to fit together). We shared bad dreams... (RUN MANDY RUN). We even decorated a tent once with furniture and I woke up she was gone. (Asleep in her bed). She threw me down the laundry chute. Yes, I know I need therapy, already. We sang songs on her hammock in duet. We promised that we would stand together forever. We promised that we would stand at each others weddings, and we did. We promised that we, no matter how far apart, would always be there for each other. I am up because I have been so blessed with an amazing friend. LOVE YOU.
