I want to thank: My wife, Jennifer with Mary Kay, for without her I would not be alive in 2010. Your devotion and love are why these moments happened in our life. My Commandants Gerald Del Carlo of Sacramento Detachment 23, Marine Corps League, and Jess Fernandez of Department of California, Marine Corps League, I hope to some day be as good as you are exemplifying our motto, Always Faithful. Thank you, and to those that make up our Detachment, a place that is home. Nino Gray Jr., the staff of Wounded Warrior Project, and our Alumni: there are very few places that exist that my wife and I can go without me bring judged for the challenges that I have. I appreciate your tireless efforts to enable me to come and have fun. Raising the flag for the Oakland As is one a few small handful of times that enduring all of this was worth it. It means and meant a lot. William Hansen, thank you for having the patience to help me to realize that I am not in a place to listen to what a Peer Mentor has to say, for what it took for me to accept that threes nothing wrong with that. But you also challenged me to grow to a point that I could, down the road. I hope to have the patience to get there. And lastly, to my family and friends who are serving, or have: thank you for reminding why I choose to do so, and for challenging me to never forget it. If everyone could, everyone would. I hope to be the Marine you think I am. Except for Joseph Pierstorff, I already know what you think of Marines. I will pass on that one. God bless and as always, Semper Fidelis PS: the picture of Rylee and I is one of my favorites (the other is of her and I playing in the snow). And Zakariah Bass, damn we look good in those photos.
