I want to thank everyone who came out for the first Annual Castle Heights Family Fun Day! Myself, Nicole Bell Johnson and Caroline Crews all thank you! We enjoyed ourselves and we hope we put smiles on the faces of the individuals who came out! This year we simply wanted to get the ball rolling and we did just that! Nothing is set in stone and we expect the committee to assist us in making what we have started into something memorable for us all! We were hoping that more folks in the community would step up in the beginning and be a part of organizing an event for our community. Although we did not get volunteers in the beginning, we have a list of names who are willing to be a part now! : Willie Coker, Kim Epperson, Michael Mabry, Neicy Boulware, Karla Wilson, Terry Murray, and Ben Piggot! We plan to make this a weekend event and I cant wait! Thank you for wanting to help! If there is anyone else who is interested please inbox me. The first email invite for the committee meeting will be in October at the Carl Russell Center where next years event will be! Make sure I have your info for the invite, date and time. Special thanks goes out to folks who helped make the Castle Heights Reunion happen! Kim our MC and her family(sorry KP promise next year you will be served! No standing in line! Ms. Jean Williams and Ms. Judy Slade thank you for helping us put the gift bags together....thank you and we missed you guys on Saturday! If I have missed anyone Im sorry! With the list of names we have from the reunion and even more volunteers, Im sure next years reunion will be even better!
