I want to thank everyone who was kind enough to volunteer and help out at the Obedience and Rally Run-Throughs this year. Some of you are old hands, whom I count on month after month after month....... Others help as their time permits. Some, well, lets say I beg and gravel. Everyone had a great time helping at each event. Thanks to Bonnie Wojtas for those dynamite Halloween cupcakes last night. They were so good, Roger Schroder ate five of them. In case you wonder, the majority, 95 percent, of runs are made by non-FCDTC members. Handlers come not just from greater Winnebago County, but from Palatine, Mt Prospect, Mokena, Aurora, Edgerton, Burlington, Geneva, Delavan, Antioch, Paw Paw, Rock Falls, Oregon, Ashton, Morrison, DeKalb, and other far off places every month - LONG drives just to make a couple runs. Those folks come to FCDTC because we have a beautiful facility, and you guys make their run-thoughs great experiences. That is something for which our club should be very proud. Thank God, there are no obedience or rally run-throughs in November or December. The next will be January 30, 2015. Expect my emails and calls shortly after New Years once again asking for your help. Until then, please enjoy the upcoming holiday season with your families and furry children. Again, thank all of you so very, very much for your help this past year.
