I want to thank you publicly Ms. Tamearra Dyson, owner of @SouleyVegan for hosting my bday party/networking event there in Downtown Oakland last night. We had a great turnout of folks, great networking, a great and beautiful experience, and excellent food. I especially dug that the meat-eaters who came spoke so highly of the vegan menu. I am definitely not trying to convert everyone to veganism (well, maybe.... :) ) but I do hope more of us think about healthier food choices. That is why I support restaurants like Souley Vegan in the Bay Area, and why I will be doing a similar event with my friend Nesanet Abegaze at her great new restaurant in Los Angeles Azla Vegan @azlavegan this Friday night at 7pm.
