As reports emerge of shootings and an alleged coup in Gambia we must not allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by reports that the coup has failed. If you cannot return home to support the uprising please consider taking all or one of these steps. 1. Try to contact any Gambian with courage to support the Freedom Fighters. If they cannot support them they must not comply with any Jammeh Loyalists. 2. Contact Senegalese officials to ensure that Jammeh does not proceed to Gambia and begin a bloodbath of revenge on all dissidents. 3. Pray for the freedom fighters to prevail and most importantly return power to civilians. Very important that we dont have a cycle of dictatorship in the Gambia.
