I want to use this opportunity to unfriend a few so called friendsby telling them the following: Dear Nada We are happy that you give us an opportunity to speak up in this wave of tremendous violence. We, like you, see the scenes and hardly believe such events can unfold among human kind. I know that a picture of a wounded child is stronger than any words. These kids tragedy is our tragedy. And it is why we will never excuse Hamas and their senders and sponsors. The people of Gaza are controlled by a murderous organization that sees death as a goal and distraction as a tool. These people are being used as human shields. The leaders of Hamas and their senders and sponsors dont care about them. At all. Putting morality to one side it is our immediate interest to minimize civilian casualties as much as we can. Every woman child or civilian that is hurt is not only an unrecoverable loss but also a delegitimization of our defense. It is Hamas strong interest to have a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. They are relentlessly striving for just that - a bunch of soldiers for hire, bandits, rocket firing and tunnel digging looney-tics sponsored by cynical leaders in Qatar and Iran. God forbid whats next on their sick minds. What we are doing in Gaza is defense rather than attack. We wish to stop it at any time but there is no one to talk to. Do you hear me? can you imagine a conflict in which a conversation is not an option. My friends are out there away from their families and jobs, risking their lives. Their wives and mothers dont sleep for weeks. The kids keep asking where they are. We will fight them as strong as needed to protect our people and communities. Those who really care for the people of Gaza should insist that Hamas be disarmed as soon as possible. Now. There is no time to waste anymore. If you are an activist who care for the people of Gaza make that your cause. Its a matter of life and death literally.
