I wanted to let everyone know that I will be having surgery on August 11th at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana Hospital. (I will be there overnight at least) The operation is very serious, but, with a prognosis of paralyzation from the neck down; Ill take my chances with the surgery. I wrote of this a while back and have been spending the last year getting tests run and an accurate diagnosis. My spine is degenerating, its a bone disease called spondylosis and the reason for the operation is the spinal cord stenosis, basically, aside from nerves getting pinched, my spinal column is choking the cord. All of the bone spurs will be drilled away and 3 discs replaced by cadaver bones in my neck, all bolted in with a titanium plate and screws, oh my! The surgeon said Id be taller :) hahaha! But I trust him and feel confident, yet, terrified about the operation. So, whatever beliefs you hold spiritually, please send that energy my way
