I wanted to let everyone out here know something......i felt i needed to because of the issues in which exist in our world of Danes now. Dames cannot take animal or people aggressive Great Danes. We simply cannot do it. If there is an extensive bite history or extensive damage to others animals it is something we cannot help. It isnt that we dont want to but we have a responsibility to the public, our foster homes, children, and the fur creatures out there who are unsuspecting of aggression. We wont place an aggressive dog within our personal homes nor that of our foster parents. Aggressive is blood, stitches, hospital visits and death of another animal. Please dont ask us to help a Dane with that type of nature. We just cannot do it in good conscience. If you have a Dane like that and you rehome that Dane to someone, it gets loose and hurts another human being you can be sued for rehomeing that dog. And to think there is a perfect place for that dog?? Dont. Accidents happen which is why they are called accidents. Even if you find the perfect home with no other dogs and no children....wont there be neighbors? Friends? Extended Family??? Please think about this before asking a rescue to take that type of animal on. If there are questions please....let us discuss them. Thank You!
