I was 17 I knew my family could not afford college for me I did not want to be stuck in a minimum wage job in a low wage state. I had no future.... I also knew I - HAD - a obligation to also SERVE my Country. combine both options. I joined the Navy and served on submarines during the "Cold War" and more.. I grew up. I had a career. I served my country. I went to college with Tuition Aid... I got out I did more College. I served Again... Post 9/11 I am Now Retired from the Army. I do not understand how OBTUSE and Disrespectful of the Military the Majority Party (Democratic) are... I call you all on the CARPET - Stop being a bunch of WHINING BABIES LIKE Susan Collins is as she asked if people were upset because student loan rates went up.... It is Time to WAKE UP .....
