I was Listening (my word of the year from this year was listen) - TopicsExpress

I was Listening (my word of the year from this year was listen) for my word for next year. Heres how it was delivered - Did you get a word for 2015 yet? Id love to hear your story too. As you all know the loss of our daughter has put me in a fragile place – kind of like I (who gets dizzy looking over the railing of our 2nd floor)am standing on the glass floor of that tower in Chicago that juts out over space, and realizing the walls have been removed. So – I was rather fearing the word I would get this year. I should have known better because just this morning while at the hospital (took someone for prenatal appt). I’d felt directed by the spirit to take along a ‘wordless gospel’ heart pin, and the tract that explains the jewels on the pin. I went to give it to the volunteer by the phone and there was the basket of encouragement with folded slips of paper, with either a scripture or a quote. I said, OK God, and drew out a paper. It was a quote that said “Live every day of your life.” Simple, huh – live! I think in my grief the enemy has been trying to get me not to live – to pull away from God’s desire to fulfill His purpose through me and writing. That moment was followed up by a friend posting a New Year greeting from Susie Larson challenging us to put our fears beneath our feet so that we can receive His grace and LIVE supernatural lives. So that encompasses my word and goal for 2015 – to LIVE each day and to WRITE each day – to submit to Him for the power to put all challenges beneath my feet and watch for His grace to take my life and my writing where He will. I WILL plant seeds. Only God can make them grow anyway. Delores
