I was a mixture of sad and happy, as I turned the final page f this book. But as much as Im sad its done, Id have to say this is one of the best reads I have stumbled upon in quite some time. If you are interested in getting an idea of what its like to be transgendered, and the battles we face both within ourselves, but with our friends and families as well, I recommend this book to you. It may be fiction, but I found it to be deeply accurate at reflecting the everyday struggles of transition. I also must add that I found it regressing to read up to date and modern terminology. There is also a great list of LGBTQ resource phone numbers, web pages, and book title at the back of the book.
