I was accused at the gym today of being Ebenezer Scrooge for my belief that those of us over 35 should not get dressed up and do the bar circuit...like we did back in the day. After correcting the person with the proper explanation that Ebenezer Scrooge is a Christmas character, I explained that were I to partake....and I am not partaking....I would have dressed up as the Lynyrd Skynyrd song That Smell. Literally the entire song. And that would have been a magnificent costume. Instead, well just have a Bright Eyes sing along. With 6 strings, 12 strings and mandolin.
