I was asked to tell 9 things about myself the other day and I apologize for being behind... Mrs. Leslie Witter Grant :) 1. I had my first child Kristen Tomlinson at age 19 and I love her with all my heart. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 5 and God saved her to be with us. Her blood glucose was over 1200 and she was almost in a coma. 2. I had my second child Kayla Tomlinson at age 22. She also is a blessing, loves to read and very intelligent. She is also a type 1 diabetic and was diagnosed this year. 3. My father Calvin Sorrell served in the Vietnam War and lost my grandmother while fighting. I never knew her ... So I was told Bob Sorrell is my first cousin but only met him one time... At my Fathers funeral. Bob Sorrell is a well known pastor for Bellvue but he forgot about family. I reckon. 4. My great grandfather served in World War II. Calvin Victor Sorrell was his name. Tough man... 5. My great great great grandmother was one of the first woman ministers of Randolph. She also was a type 1 diabetic. Not sure how she took care of herself. 6. I have the most loving mother anyone could ever ask for. She worked day and night to provide for us when my dad passed. She has always took care of many people. The sick, elderly and whoever else she could help. She has a heart of gold. 7. I am a nature kind of girl. I am completely satisfied with music and outdoors. 8. I have overcome alot of health issues. I almost died twice from infection. Thank God I am in Remission. 9. Finally I hope someday I can enjoy more time with my girls and relax.... Ive really worked my buns off the past 5 years years as a single mother.
