I was asked why am I digging out all the old shoots and re-editing them. Honestly, I only started shooting models since Mar 2014 and I have no clue what fashion is about. I am very blessed that many have helped and dared to stand in front of my lens and see me panic. Having an assistant or extra person around would make me panic more. I am quite timid actually. Having more people around can be confusing. I have no art direction or what ever and is simply trying, experimenting to see where and what comes out of all these test shoot. My genre was and still is documentary, travel and wedding. I do hope to get more test shoot this year and am building up a portfolio. In short, I was trying to find my Wanton Mee. I read, experiment, explore, tested, refined, discard and refine until I find my own Wanton Mee style. Like a good friend say, I shoot the same thing all the time. I replied, Its Okay to make the same Wanton Mee. Just sometimes it has more Chilli, Its Soup, Dry or maybe served with more ingredients. And there is no need to compare Wanton Mee with Bak Chor Mee Goodnight.
