I was at Home Depot today looking for a good set of CAT-6 crimpers. Their in-store radio station is a trip, to say the least. I heard Sway by Bic Runga and Wild Wild West by Escape Club. I did not take this as a sign from God--more like a sign from either Tim The Tool Man Taylor or Bob Villa. What this sign means? I dont know. Perhaps Im to build a giant communications network around Austin so that everyone has a dedicated connection to each other via our computers... But that sounds like an awful lot of work for Memorial Day weekend. Much rather be cooking up some gnarly grindage; though, I am not at all opposed to wheezing the juice when the occasion call for it. Anyways, got home and decided to watch Out of Africa instead. Great film, that one. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who is a human being and feels stuff. Meryl Streep in her prime. Robert Redford is as charming as ever (I want to mimic his mannerisms whenever I meet females) plus breath-taking cinematography by David Watkin (except for a few awkward processed-photography shots at the beginning). This still leaves the question of what to cook. I need something with zero prep/marination time that can be made either on the stove or in the oven. Any suggestions? Recipes would be most welcome. Thank you.
