I was at breakfast, unwashed hair and greasy faced with my plastic cup of bottled water, sitting in a booth next to a former mayor and a councilman. Mayor Collins was on the tv in the background, and I found myself shouting out at the tv. Most of my shout outs caught our former mayors eye, and he murmured responses to a few of my questions. In conversation with one of his peers, he clearly said this ....you know there is no way Toledo could survive more than 3 days of shutdown, (he had made a quick estimate that there was a loss of 7 million in the restaurant industry over the weekend) so they will without question get the water back on by today (monday) by either fixing it, or if they cant figure out how to fix it, they will just say that it is fixed.
