I was at my daughters house and I was sitting in the chair with my headphones on listening to this song. I started singing out loud, and she said, daddy what are you listening to? I gave her one of my earbuds and she said, I never heard this song before. I said this is probably old school to you. She paused then said, daddy what place does that song take you to? Without hesitation I said, to a happy place when I was your age or even younger, like when I met your mom. She said, are you happy now where your at? And I said without thinking, not really Sheree. I want to love again to. She smiled and said, daddy I have and always will be your girl. Isnt that enough? I smiled and said, not really Ree. I love you dearly, but to be in love is what I would like again one day. She smiled and at that moment I knew she knew what I was saying.
