I was at one of the local animal shelters, and there was a elderly dog there that did not have a lot of time left because of his age. I tried to adopt him and was going to let him live out the rest of his years in happiness. AS I was naming off all of my animals and who there vet was and giving them information on their shots and such, the girl at the counter said you cannot adopt this dog you are a animal hoarder. Three days later they put him to sleep I was so pissed. SO I wrote them a letter. Which I shared this info. You call me a hoarder yet none of the animals are in cages, my horses are in fences. They are well cared for an vetted, they are loved fed and played with. I could drive a rolls royce phantom if I didnt have all these animals. But let me tell you why I do. Because other people in the human race let their animals reproduce then just take the babies down a long country road and drop them off, and guess whos country road that is...Mine and all of the other hoarders out there like me. We dont breed these animals for profit, we let them be members of our family and when we foster we look for other people who will take them as family members not just a pet. And we would never take a needle loaded with poison to end their life, I may be a animal hoarder but if you have pulled the trigger on one of those needles guess what that makes you. They can kiss my rosey red, well never mind you now..
