I was at the Council meeting last night after the Save Mount - TopicsExpress

I was at the Council meeting last night after the Save Mount Druitt Pool Rally. Cr Jess Diaz stood up to defend the highly immoral Council budget that now requires pensioners and disabled residents to pay up for the use of Aquatic Centres. Cr Diaz inisisted that the arguments again raised by the Labor councilors are the rehash of old issues. At the heat of the debate, Cr Jess Diaz defended the proposed budget and labelled the pensioners as freeloaders. To paraphare Luke 6:45, A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. Cr Diaz should be ashamed for acting like a spoilt brat at the council last night and should have at least taken a serious thought how his words would impact on the sentiments of countless pensioners including those from the Filipino community who elected him. I have never felt so ashamed as a Filipino-Australian in my life. From the treasure of Cr Diaz heart, his mouth did spoke and revealed what we know now - desdain and contemp for the pensioners and to the expanded sectors, the battler of Blacktown City.
