I was at the grocery store yesterday when a lady in a wheelchair asked if I could reach a box of cereal for her. After I helped her another lady who walking by asked if I could help her get a box of pop tarts she wanted off the top shelf. I then went around the corner to the next row where I wanted to get some baking soda, it too was on the top shelf, but this time it was all the way back against the wall of the shelf. I could not reach the baking soda. I tried knocking one over with my notebook, but once it fell I could no longer see it. I backed up to the other side of the isle to see where it had fallen. I still could not get that soda. A woman came along and asked if I wanted the soda, I said yes, so she picked up her about four year old son and asked him to get it for me. Now that is what you call irony.
