I was at the park with my kids the other day and started lamenting about how much work I had waiting for me at home. A friend said something about having less kids being a lot less work. It immediately changed my attitude because every tiny bit of work is worth the joy I find in EVERY one of my children. Needless to say, you will not hear me complain about my piles of laundry any more or the crumbs on my floor. I love caring for my children and appreciate it more than ever! I especially love watching my kids help and love each other. I have caught a terrible cold and while I was resting today my kids did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, swept the floor and now my 14 year old is making a pineapple upside down cake for the family all by himself. I love my kids! And I love being a mom!!
