I was at the walmart today. My hair was twisted into Willie Nelson braids and I was wearing a gigantic garish green muumuu to cover up the swimsuit snugged underneath. I was beach bound and whilst I checked out fun beach going items at the walmart check-yourself-robot - like flips flops and water bottles and sand supplies (with the help of my of grimey,grinning ,giddy, littles and Gorgeous Gus) I noticed my ex-husbands wife eyeing me....So I smiled and I waved and I felt SO suddenly and unexpectedly- HAPPY! Being me-my awkward eccentric unapologetic self- I find joy in most moments... and it seems that ( Insert assumption) by simply being, I gift fodder to the fires of those who may, for no good reason (or maybe for a great secret reason),love to hate me....which makes me a lovely loathsome gift- and THAT is a privilege for which one should be aware and appropriately grateful- because being a gift is something that not everyone is and even if you are loathsome it IS better to be an IS than an ISNT , correct? So....Cheers to today and everyday! Cheers to my friends, and those who arent my friends, but could be my friends, if only they knew how to smile.... And cheers to a beautiful day at the beach and cheers to my magical life, which is inhabited with fairies and trolls alike.... Cheers, cheers, cheers!!!
