I was born raised along this river, my family fought over our way of life here, Some were were locked up over taking care of our way of life.....Today things are changing, and alot of words are talked about over it. Nothing changes.......My father still continues the fight for fishing along this water.....All the way to Penticton, and toward Boise and the snake.......Keeping our promise to our sacred foods and resources......I want to push farther, What sustained us for from time immemorial, through subsistence and commerce, is slowly being taking away from us through greed......this government committed genocide on our people, and divided us to conquer........I NEED ALL THE HELP AND SUPPORT I CAN.......If i must sacrifice for it........i will.......because it gave its whole being, its all so we may survive.........Our elders never gave up so that we might go forward forever.......its our turn now! Some went to war over it......now its time, to leave the ones coming better than what we received.......
