I was deeply touched today by the gesture of some Equine friends - TopicsExpress

I was deeply touched today by the gesture of some Equine friends from our region. There are a lot of great, worthwhile multiple day horse shows in Maine. MeQHA has the Pine Tree. MHA puts on the DEHC. AHAME puts on Autumnfest. ASAM has the Summer Spectacular. The FEA has the Black Diamond Jubilee. I support in one way or another each and every one of these shows. I encourage each and every one of you to offer some type of support to each and everyone of these shows. Then there is the Maine Event ~ Maine State Championship Show! This show I started because there are a lot of people who chase their breed, state or region affiliation championships. All of these are important! But I wanted to offer one show where you show against the best in the area and walk away calling yourself the state champ... and winning a jacket to bolster your efforts. This show affiliates with those other organizations because they are the backbone of the show world. However, this show I wanted to make the decisions... everyone knows I think outside the box... act outside the triangle... and do belong to some of the circles... I have had such positive feedback the last two years of the show... and it is the fastest growing show in the state.... today, my long time friends, Cheryl Innis and Ricky Harris sent me a check to support this show - and they are now the sponsors of the entire Walk - Trot Division! Thank you to Ricky & Cheryl, although the words do not convey the true feelings I have for you and your long time support of the equine industry in New England.
