I was depressed about turning 32 this week, but then I looked back on my 31st year - I got married, changed my name, bought a puppy, passed my driving test, took up golf, started an Arabic course, played lots of netball, stocked our home with some amazingly lovely wedding gifts, started played Basketball again after 10 years, went to NY, the Maldives, Barcelona, Madrid, England, New Zealand, Beijing, Hong Kong, Qatar, Egypt, Oman, Sri Lanka, tried every fad diet known to man (including 2 hardcore bootcamps military style), did some paddle-boarding in Dubai, generally enjoyed nice food (reason for need of fad diets) and sunshine living here in the desert (it has only rained on me 3 times in Dubai this year) and finally gave up diet coke (1 month now), to which I was utterly addicted. How could I possibly be depressed about that? X
