I was doing some personal development when I came across this video that my friend and business partner Sabrina Walker made a few months ago and I was reminded to stay true to my purpose of educating and not recruiting. Im a teacher at heart, and it satisfies my heart to see students developing as better leaders, better communicators, and just better overall versions of themselves. Starting, organizing, and managing a student group with goals as massive as ours is not easy, especially when Im no longer a KSU student and still have a lot to learn myself, but this video reminded me that I still have some work to do for my students that started with me, joined me along the way, or expressed curiosity at any point. Im not giving up on them, since they havent given up on me.
