I was driving for last 3 years, I thought I am a good driver and I know everything ;) but I learned real driving once I came here. I would say I was forced to learn :). In order to get license I had to go all the rules and regulations by reading drivers manual, without which we can not complete written & road tests here. I could managed to complete written test in first attempt but not the road test ;). I had to go one more time ;). Here road test is like examiner sit beside us and according to his/her direction we should go, so bit difficult. The thing is because of this process we learn all the things required for driving. It would be good to implement this kind of process in India, so that accidents can be reduced. Implementation is not enough it should strictly be handled. After getting license also we can not simply enjoy driving in our own way. We should follow the rules, otherwise your license will be revoked or you will be sent to jail based on the incident. Success behind this approach is strict rule & regulations with which everything is possible. Hope India would get this kind of strict rules in every area, then only it gets developed, otherwise generations changes but still India is called as developing country :)
