I was eating alone while observing the service crews at Greenwich, SM City Tarlac. They welcomed customers, served orders and cleaned the tables. They walked here and there with smiles on their faces. After finishing my last slice of pizza, I rested a little while. When I was about to stand, a splash of cold liquid came pouring on my shirt. My reflexes ordered me to stand. Then I found myself the center of attraction of all the customers in the fastfood. All eyes were on me. The service crews rushed to where I was to offer tissue paper. In their eyes, I sensed that theyre waiting for some violent reactions from me. I could also smell that theyre ready to hear fiery words. What happened next surprised everyone, including myself. I just smiled from ear to ear. Then said, Okay lang, matutuyo din naman to. Oh, how their faces beamed with signs of relief! Afterwards, I headed to the restroom inside the pizza shop. When I went out, all the service crews were expressing their apologies. I still smiled (which is very uncommon of me). Maybe its their pizza that prompted me to react that way.
