I was given the #6. 1.) I was born in Fitzsimons Army Hospital Denver, Colorado. Technically I have been in the Military as a dependent, soldier and retiree all my life. 2.) I lived in Tripoli, Libya from 1952 thru 1954. 3.) I joined the Army in 1968 and I was required to get three waivers so I could serve my Country. One was for my childhood asthma, one was for the shingles I was getting over with, and a third for my brush in with the law. Keep in mind there was a draft at this time and people were going to Canada to avoid the draft. 4.) I was one of fifty Warrant Officer Aviators selected to receive a direct commission to captain. Normally a direct commission was to second lieutenant, two ranks lower than captain. 5.) I took over as head trainer for Globe Aviation Security at the Lindberg Terminal (Terminal #1) at the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport two weeks before September 11, 2001. After 9/11 I worked 16 to 18 hours a day seven days a week training new screeners for the check points and gates until we had all the new security needed in place. I then Trained in the Transportation Security Agency personnel that would replace Globe Aviation Security personnel. 6.) I am a pilot that can fly both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. I have over 5,000 hours flight time, which includes over 1,400 hours of combat flying. How was that Terri?
