I was given the inspiring number 8....following in sequence from number 7...from John Beck....here are 8 random facts you may or may not know about me! 1. I was adopted when I was 20 days old in Columbia, S. C.. 2. My 17 year old mother was sent to live in a home for unwed mothers away from her family and gave birth to me in Atlanta, GA. I lived in 6 different places with different people before I was finally given to my wonderful parents that adopted me! 3. I have been tandem skydiving 3 times. Standing on the edge of an airplane knowing you are about to jump off the edge is a scary and an incredible feeling all at the same time. 4. My husband, Wayne Dreyer, and I met on Match. Our first date on April 13, 2008 lasted 10 hours and we have been together ever since! 5. I was the Captain of the Bowling Team in Jr. High School. 6. I decided to quit being a cheerleader in my senior year of high school to be in the chorus. I was in a 16-person show choir group that year called the Seabreeze Grand Staff Singers. I was in the 2 high school musicals (The Pajama Game & South Pacific). It was truly a wonderful decision! I had so much fun and got to hang out with a totally different and fabulous group of folks. And because I was a photographer for the annual staff, the band and glee club had random candid photos in the yearbook (hadn’t really happened before). 7. When I was 17 I went on a teens camping tour across the United States. It was my first time taking a big trip, being away from home for 3 weeks and first time camping. We slept under the stars almost every night and went to most of the national parks. We actually slept on the edge of the Grand Canyon and work up to watch the sunrise in from our sleeping bags. Guess this is when I got the travel bug! 8. My husband is truly one of the sweetest, kindest and most generous people on the planet and I am truly blessed to have him in my life!
