I was given the number six, so here are six things about me that you probably dont know. Like this message and Ill give you a number. 1. I dont like ball-point pens. I have a small collection of fountain pens from which I choose my pen of the day. 2. The two most appealing words in the English language to me are road trip. 3. I generally have the same things for breakfast and lunch every day. 4. I was once asked to play a horn solo during a church service. The organist and I selected a tune called Oh Is There Not One Maidens Breast? We renamed the selection Andante Religioso. We almost got away with it. One church elder recognized the song and kicked us in. 5. I was a guest at a quarterly meeting of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Iran in Exile. The entire meeting was in Farsi and I didnt understand a single word. 6. Things checked off of my bucket list: climbing a mountain, driving 100mph (no, not in a Red Cross vehicle, Dottie), publishing a book, planting a tree, singing with a live orchestra, seeing whales in their natural environment, and playing a trombone once owned by Tommy Dorsey. Still to do: sky dive, learn to swim, learn to ski, visit Paris with Rebecca.
