I was going to do a 2014 recap but honestly, I dont know where to begin. I spent a good majority of the year too sick to do anything and the times I was feeling up to it, I was having the time of my life with my closest friends and family. I have made so many amazing memories over the last few years, but last year was definitely my favorite. I began dating my soul mate, welcomed my handsome nephew into the world, witnessed my best friend marry her soul mate, helped welcome her beautiful baby girl into the world, and not to mention traveled so much to see so many of my favorite artists perform. When I finally found out that I had a kidney disease at the end of the year, I thought that all of these people would change...but they didnt. Theyve stayed by side and made sure that I was as happy as I could ever be, and for that, I thank you all. Mostly, though, I want to thank this amazing man (Jake) for being my shoulder to cry on, for being there when I am incredibly sick at 3am, for bringing me medicine at work when all he wants to do is rest after an extremely long cold day at his job, and for staying on top of my appointments better than me sometimes...I couldnt have asked for a better person to be by my side.
