I was going to save this for Monday but I am forced, by memories, friendships, and a broken heart that is rekindled this week every year, to honor the past and present... full of those I have been blessed in this life to know. Friends, Fremily, Family, Patrons…If I had a quarter for the amount of loved ones that have made the Ultimate Sacrifice for this Country… I would be rich… not monetarily mind you, but RICH… Rich in the thankfulness and gratitude I have for those that have given everything for our freedom! May you spend your eternities in the wings of warriors watching over the rest of us… And may our livelihood rest in the hands of real freedom… And for my friends who have lost and served and my son, Shawn Michael Mclain… those who are just beginning their journey… May you follow the lead of the great men and women who go before you.
