I was humbled by the outpouring of support at the SC TEA Party Convention in Myrtle Beach! Thanks for having me and allowing me to share a stage with great leaders like Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, Jim Bridenstine, and so many others! ~I talked about the need for Boldness at all levels; ~About being principaled and unabashed in our conservatism; ~The need to rebrand the GOP into the Great Opportunity Party; ~I discussed Jobs, Energy & the Founding Fathers; ~I discussed Americans having control over, and making their own decisions about, their own lives; ~That it will be what we DO with this historic majority in Congress that will matter when history writes this chapter; ~We have to have the courage to lead and the wisdom to listen (to the American people); ~We can choose to continue to govern in a way that leads to more deficits, more debt and more government; Or ~We can govern in a way that addresses the big govt programs and entitlements that cause deficits and borrowing, instead of the spending cuts that hurt our nations military and our veterans.... ~No more spying on Americans, no more budget tricks and gimmicks and no more thousand page bills without giving me and the American people a chance to read them before a vote; ~Our freedoms are what makes America unique; But ~Our nation which was conceived in liberty is currently enslaved by the shackles of big government. ~Lets renew our commitment to Liberty. ~Thomas Jefferson was correct when he said the people are the ultimate guardians of their own liberty. ~That is why you, the grassroots movement, is so important!
