I was in Europe last week and speaking to a Hungarian Professor while there and our conversation turned to the issue of an independent Scotland. What most of the Scottish people dont realise is the vast majority of Europe are shouting at the top of their voices Dont listen to Westminster or Better Together: they are lying to you Scotland! The Professor was disgusted with the way the media giants and government have manipulated Scottish media and that their arguments which are convincing some to choose to vote no are complete nonsense and bear no relevance to independence. As they (Hungary) are a small independent country they are shocked Scotland would doubt for a minute they would be better as an independent country. I wish we could let Scotland know how the vast majority of Europe feel. Europe want us as our own independent country. They are disgusted at the tyranny and corruption surrounding the Better Together campaign and Westminster. Arguing about currency, pensions, taxes, citizenship and borders, to name a few, have absolutely no place in the debate. The independence debate only comes down to one thing........Do we, the people of Scotland, want to have ultimate control of our own country or continue to be ultimately controlled by another country? We wont be going anywhere! We will still be your neighbouring country and still part of the British Isles. We simply want to be free to choose our and our childrens future for ourselves.
